The atmosphere at this hostel was amazing. The staff were super friendly and made an effort to connect with the guests. Met some really cool people with interesting travel stories. The rooms and facilities were sufficient for a backpacker. The rooftop café had a great vibe and the food was good.

The bathrooms could have been bigger and maybe having a game/activity manager in the evening would have been nice. Some of the staff seemed disinterested and not very helpful.

I recently stayed at Alobar1000 in Kathmandu for a trekking trip. The location was perfect, within a 10-minute walk of all the trekking shops. The rooftop lounge and cafe were excellent, offering a great atmosphere and stunning views. The restaurant staff were friendly and jovial, making dining a truly enjoyable experience. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options. Additionally, the hot shower was a pleasant surprise after a long day of trekking. The staff were amazing, making me feel right at home. highly recommended.

I always stay here when I visit. The staff gave me a taxi number on my first visit. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, parking, laundry, restaurant, massage, game room. Perfect for my city trips. No regrets!

The rooftop bar and social areas at Alobar1000 were a great place to meet fellow travelers. The food was delicious and affordable. One of the staff members, Tenzin, took the time to show us around the city, which was a wonderful gesture. I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone visiting the area.

my recent stay in kathmandu was amazing, but alobar took it to a whole new level. the all glass sunroom and delicious food made it a perfect spot to relax and mingle with fellow travelers. the friendly and attentive staff made me feel right at home. highly recommend!

Alobar1000 was such great value for money! The room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely atmosphere. The location was perfect, and the staff treated us like family.
